Extra Tall, Extra Powerful – The “XT” in 48XT stands for “extra tall.” This design allows for taller parts to be blasted on the table, expanding the range of applications you can handle with a table blaster.
But that’s not all. the 48XT comes equipped with two blast wheels instead of one-wheel. This dual-wheel configuration delivers powerful, comprehensive blast coverage for those taller parts.
Ideal for Peening and Taller Parts
The ability to accommodate taller parts, combined with the power of two blast wheels and the addition of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), makes the 48XT incredibly versatile. “With the addition of VFDs, this machine can easily be used for peening processes of medium to taller parts that may not have fit on our standard 48 platform,” Brett Michael notes. This means enhanced capabilities for shot peening, along with general cleaning and finishing of a wider variety of part sizes.
